Challenge Group has announced the successful launch of its inaugural freighter service to Bangalore (BLR), which took place on Sunday, May 4th. This new weekly operation marks a significant milestone in the Group’s expanding presence in India and underlines its ongoing commitment to supporting complex supply chains across key global trade lanes. Over a year ago, Challenge Group began operations in India with dedicated service to Mumbai. Today, with three weekly flights into Mumbai, the company supports a wide range of verticals, including pharmaceuticals, high-tech, and temperature-sensitive sectors through its reliable, end-to-end logistics solutions.

The newly launched Bangalore service is operated with a Boeing 767-300BDSF freighter, offering a 50-ton capacity and enhancing the Group’s ability to provide tailored solutions for customers in southern India. The addition of Bangalore further strengthens Challenge Group’s strategic connectivity between India, the Middle East, Europe, and North America. With the addition of Bangalore, Challenge Group continues to build on its robust and growing network. The company maintains a strong global presence, with daily connections between Tel Aviv and Liège, serving as a central European hub. From Tel Aviv, cargo also moves twice a week directly to New York, ensuring timely service to the United States. Liège is further connected to New York with five weekly flights, offering ample capacity and flexibility for U.S.-bound shipments. In addition, weekly freighter services from Liège to Houston, along with twice-weekly flights to Atlanta, offer crucial connections to the southern United States, enhancing end-to-end connectivity across key pharmaceutical, high-tech, and industrial corridors. Or Zak, Chief Commercial Officer of Challenge Group, commented: “Given that India is striving to become the factory of the world, and the production of key verticals has significantly increased during the past few years, our strategic decision to now launch a regular and direct India-Middle East-Europe service goes some way towards satisfying the intense customer demand on this route.”

This expansion represents more than just increased frequency. It reflects Challenge Group’s broader mission to deliver seamless and integrated logistics services that meet the evolving needs of global trade.
