Jonathan Song, the newly appointed CEO of the Global Business Division at South Korea-based CJ Logistics, concluded a strategic three-day visit to India from July 29 to 31, reaffirming the company’s long-term commitment to the Indian market through its subsidiary, CJ Darcl Logistics Ltd.
During the visit, Mr. Song engaged in high-level meetings with CJ Darcl’s leadership and key customers, aiming to gain deeper insights into India’s evolving logistics landscape, identify areas of synergy, and align business strategies to better meet local market demands. The visit underscored India’s growing importance within CJ Logistics’ global network, particularly against the backdrop of the country’s rapidly developing multimodal logistics ecosystem and infrastructure advancements.
With a sharp focus on digitalisation and customer-centric innovation, CJ Logistics is working to enhance its 4PL capabilities and omnichannel service experience. The company’s proprietary TES (Technology, Engineering, Systems & Solutions) framework remains central to its efforts to deliver smarter, more scalable logistics solutions.
“India represents immense opportunity through its expanding infrastructure and digitally agile customer base. We are committed to empowering our teams, building meaningful partnerships, and driving solutions that reflect global best practices and local relevance,” Mr. Song said.
His visit not only reaffirmed CJ Logistics’ commitment to India but also highlighted the company’s broader vision of integrating value-driven, innovative logistics solutions across its international operations.
