CMA CGM has finalized the acquisition of Fattal Group, a family-owned business and a prominent player in warehousing, promotion, and distribution across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

The move comes at a time of economic and geopolitical challenges in Lebanon and the wider region. Despite the demanding environment, CMA CGM expressed confidence in the long-term growth potential of MENA markets and reaffirmed its commitment to continued investment.

The acquisition represents a significant step in CMA CGM’s strategy to expand its end-to-end logistics capabilities, complementing the operations of its logistics arm, CEVA Logistics. By integrating Fattal Group’s regional expertise, the company aims to strengthen its footprint in a region playing an increasingly important role in global trade.

CMA CGM highlighted that the deal will unlock new growth opportunities with major industrial and retail partners, while leveraging Fattal Group’s experienced workforce and deep understanding of local markets—key factors behind its longstanding success.
