CMA CGM Air Cargo has launched a new freighter service connecting Paris and Hanoi, expanding its air cargo network in Asia and strengthening connectivity between Europe and Vietnam’s fast-growing manufacturing and export sector.

The dedicated freighter route is expected to support rising demand for time-sensitive shipments, including electronics, textiles, industrial components, and e-commerce cargo moving between the two regions. Industry sources said the service will provide greater capacity flexibility and faster transit options for exporters and importers.

Vietnam has emerged as a key manufacturing hub in Asia, driving increased air cargo demand on Europe-bound trade lanes. The new Paris–Hanoi connection is expected to enhance supply chain efficiency and support businesses seeking reliable cargo solutions amid shifting global production patterns.

Logistics analysts noted that the launch reflects CMA CGM Air Cargo’s broader strategy to expand its international freighter operations and strengthen multimodal logistics offerings alongside its maritime transport business.
