    Marseille-based container line CMA CGM will apply new Freight All Kinds (FAK) rates from Jebel Ali to all North European, Mediterranean & North African ports.

    The following rates will apply to dry cargo beginning 1 November 2023:

    From Jebel Ali to : Amount in US$ per 20′ Amount in US$ per 40′
    North Europe US$1,050 US$1,150
    West Mediterranean US$1,050 US$1,150
    East Mediterranean US$1,050 US$1,150
    North Africa US$1,650 US$2,050

    Additionally, the company announced new rates from all North European ports (excluding Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Le Havre & Dunkerque) to Jebel Ali, UAE.

    The following rates will also be applicable from 1 November, for dry, out of gauge (OOG), paying empties and reefer cargo:

    20’GP 40’GP/40’HC 40′ RF
    Antwerp/Rotterdam/
    Southampton/London to Jebel Ali
    US$950 US$1,000 US$1,600

     

    Furthermore, CMA CGM has announced that terminal handling charges in Jebel Ali will be collected directly from customers from 1 November 2023, for both import and export shipments.
