French container shipping company CMA CGM has rebranded the two terminals in New York and New Jersey it acquired from Global Container Terminals (GCT) earlier in the year.

CMA CGM unveiled the newly branded Port Liberty, the name for what used to be called GCT Bayonne and New York, at a launch party in Manhattan, New York. Port Liberty New York and Port Liberty Bayonne will be the new names of the two terminals.

The logo features the Statue of Liberty.

“Port Liberty New York and Port Liberty Bayonne on the East Coast, together with FMS on the West Coast now rank as CMA CGM’s flagship terminals in North America. They will enable us to provide a better service offering to our customers,” said CMA CCM on a social media post.
