    B. Kasiviswanathan, Chairperson of Cochin Port Authority, visited V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority as part of efforts to strengthen institutional collaboration and knowledge exchange among India’s major ports.

    During the visit, Shri Kasiviswanathan toured the Port Museum and key wharf facilities at VOC Port, gaining insights into the port’s operational capabilities and infrastructure development initiatives.

    Susanta Kumar Purohit and Rajesh Soundararajan, along with senior officials of the port, briefed the visiting delegation on various ongoing initiatives focused on green port development, digital transformation, operational efficiency, and port-led industrial growth.

    The interaction provided a valuable platform for exchanging ideas, best practices, and experiences between the two major ports, reflecting a shared commitment towards developing sustainable, technology-driven, and future-ready maritime infrastructure aligned with India’s growing logistics and trade aspirations.
