    Container Corporation of India celebrated its 37th Annual Day with a formal event attended by senior leadership from the Ministry of Railways, key stakeholders, and employees.

    The occasion was graced by Satish Kumar, Chairman & CEO of the Railway Board, along with Members and Director Generals of the Board and other senior officials.

    Addressing the gathering, Satish Kumar commended CONCOR’s significant contribution to strengthening India’s logistics ecosystem. He emphasized the company’s role in enabling seamless end-to-end supply chain solutions, with railways serving as the backbone of efficient and sustainable freight transportation.

    Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Swarup, Chairman and Managing Director of CONCOR, outlined several customer-centric initiatives undertaken by the company. These include the movement of bulk cement through tank containers, the operation of Assured Transit Container services, and the introduction of integrated end-to-end parcel solutions aimed at enhancing service reliability and efficiency.

    Swarup also highlighted the company’s forward-looking strategy, noting ambitious plans to expand its terminal network and augment strategic assets in the near future. These initiatives are expected to further strengthen CONCOR’s market position and support the growing demand for multimodal logistics services across the country.

    The event reaffirmed CONCOR’s commitment to innovation, customer focus, and its pivotal role in driving India’s logistics and freight transportation sector forward.
