Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) has strengthened its infrastructure at Area III with the successful handling of a full NMG (New Modified Goods) rake on a newly developed paved operational area at the Inland Gateway Container Station (IGCS), reinforcing its commitment to improving customer service and operational efficiency.

The upgraded facility features a newly paved surface equipped with check rails and a level crossing (LC), enabling smoother movement of cargo, enhanced operational safety, and greater convenience for customers. The infrastructure enhancement is expected to streamline rail operations while supporting the increasing demand for efficient logistics services.

CONCOR stated that continuous investment in infrastructure remains a key priority as it works to meet evolving customer requirements and deliver reliable, customer-centric logistics solutions. The organization emphasized that modernizing its facilities will play a crucial role in enhancing service quality, improving operational productivity, and supporting business growth.

The successful handling of the full NMG rake on the upgraded infrastructure marks another step in CONCOR’s efforts to strengthen its logistics network and provide seamless, efficient, and safe cargo handling services across its terminals.
