DACHSER is strengthening its presence in the North American airfreight forwarding market through a stake in Synergie Canada, expanding its access to the Canadian logistics market and supporting the development of its air and sea freight network.

Synergie Canada has evolved from a traditional over-the-road transportation company into an international logistics provider, with operations spanning Canada and wider North American markets. The company offers airfreight, ocean freight, trucking and integrated logistics solutions.

The investment will give DACHSER a stronger local platform in Canada while allowing it to combine Synergie Canada’s market knowledge with its own international forwarding network. DACHSER’s Air & Sea Logistics business provides global air and ocean freight services through company-operated locations and local partners.

The move is expected to strengthen connections between Canadian customers and DACHSER’s international network, particularly on major North American, European and Asian trade lanes. Greater integration with a local logistics provider can also improve access to regional transportation and distribution capabilities.

For Synergie Canada, the partnership provides an opportunity to expand its international capabilities and benefit from DACHSER’s global logistics infrastructure. The Canadian company already serves customers across sectors including aerospace, retail, food and beverages, machinery and advanced technology.

DACHSER has been pursuing international expansion of its Air & Sea Logistics operations in recent years. The company has previously strengthened its network through acquisitions and partnerships in markets including Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

The latest investment comes as airfreight demand and supply-chain requirements continue to evolve across North America. By strengthening its Canadian presence, DACHSER is positioning itself to capture additional forwarding business and provide customers with more integrated international logistics solutions.
