DP World and OneStop will launch OptiBook, a new container management platform, at DP World Fisherman Island Terminal in Brisbane.
According to the companies, the system aims to reduce container dwell times, improve truck utilisation, and support supply chain safety and sustainability.
OptiBook allows transport operators to manage all their containers from a single interface, offering new features to streamline the container booking process.
Nicolaj Noes, Executive Vice President, Oceania at DP World, said: “This is part of a broader strategy to enhance our overall offering at our terminal in Brisbane, the key trade hub to facilitate flow of goods at the core of Queensland’s economy.
“Our team will work with OneStop to ensure our customers are properly onboarded onto the new platform, to access a faster and more efficient booking experience.”
The system, developed as an extension of OneStop’s Vehicle Booking System (VBS), will initially be implemented at the vessel level to support a phased transition.
Operators will still be able to book, manifest, and manage stack runs through the existing system, but with new functionalities added.
Key updates include enhanced visibility through the Container List screen, showing hold status, estimated discharge dates, storage start dates, and a Notify Me feature that alerts users when containers are available for booking.

“In addition, carriers will soon benefit from improved access to booking and manifest information, along with real-time communication through the OneStop Deliver App.”
Recently, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) announced it will not oppose DP World Australia Limited’s proposed acquisition of Silk Logistics Holdings Limited.
