DPA Kandla continues to set the pace in advancing decarbonization initiatives and expanding international collaboration. On 13th November 2025, a high-level British delegation supported by GH2 India, led by British Deputy High Commissioner Mr. Stephen Thomas Hickling, visited India’s first 1 MW Indigenous Green Hydrogen Plant located at Kandla Port.
The delegation lauded DPA Kandla’s rapid progress in building clean-energy infrastructure, its forward-looking green port initiatives, and its emerging role in shaping India’s Green Hydrogen value chain. With strong momentum behind its sustainable development projects, Kandla is steadily positioning itself as a key enabler of India’s national and global green-fuel ambitions.
In another significant engagement, DPA Kandla also hosted a delegation from the New Zealand High Commission alongside leaders from New Zealand’s forestry and wood processing industry. The visiting team observed first-hand how Kandla serves as India’s leading EXIM gateway for timber, supporting a major portion of the nation’s timber supply chain.
The interaction further reinforced Kandla’s reputation as a critical hub not only for efficient trade operations but also for fostering global industry partnerships.
With simultaneous strides in clean energy and strategic international cooperation, DPA Kandla is emerging as a model port driving both sustainability and trade excellence.
