Emirates SkyCargo is strengthening its role in supporting India’s expanding trade and connecting exporters with international markets through its global air freight network.

India has become an increasingly important market for the cargo carrier, with strong growth in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and other time-sensitive exports driving demand for air freight.

The carrier’s Dubai hub provides Indian businesses with access to destinations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Americas and Asia, supporting the movement of high-value and time-sensitive cargo.

India’s merchandise exports have also maintained strong momentum, rising more than 15% during the first five months of FY2026-27 despite a challenging global trade environment.

Emirates SkyCargo’s expanding connectivity comes as India seeks to diversify export markets and strengthen its position in global supply chains. The airline is particularly well positioned to support sectors where speed, reliability and temperature-controlled transportation are critical.

With global supply chains facing higher freight costs and disruptions, air cargo is becoming increasingly important for exporters seeking to maintain delivery schedules and reach overseas customers.

The growing India–UAE trade relationship also provides a broader platform for logistics cooperation, with bilateral merchandise trade exceeding $100 billion in FY2026 and both countries targeting $200 billion by 2032.

For Emirates SkyCargo, India’s expanding export base offers opportunities to deepen cargo connectivity while helping Indian businesses reach global markets faster.
