The Federation of Freight Forwarders’ Associations in India (FFFAI) has announced the launch of nominations for the prestigious FIATA Young Logistics Professionals Award 2026, aimed at promoting young entrepreneurs, forwarders, and logistics professionals across the country. The initiative reinforces FFFAI’s commitment to nurturing emerging talent and supporting the growth of the logistics sector.

The award is open to Young Logisticians and FFFAI members aged 18 to 35 years as of 1st January 2026, offering them an opportunity for global exposure and industry recognition. The programme highlights FIATA’s and FFFAI’s shared vision of developing quality in the forwarding industry and providing promising professionals with valuable international training.

To qualify, applicants should preferably have at least two years of full-time experience in supply chain logistics and must submit a dissertation on a topic stipulated by FIATA, along with completing all requirements mentioned in the registration form. The dissertation allows candidates to showcase their analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, industry knowledge, and innovative thinking, covering real-world logistics scenarios.

Applicants are required to submit two multimodal freight forwarding case studies—one focusing on a key import commodity to India and another on a key export from India. The dissertation, with a word limit between 4,000 and 6,000 words, may be supplemented with graphs, photographs and supporting documents, and must be submitted in a single unlocked Word document.

Following submission, the FFFAI Selection Panel will assess candidates based on clarity of thought, research depth, analytical skills, objectivity of structuring, and ability to conclude with practical recommendations. Shortlisted candidates will then be nominated to represent India in the global competition.

    Participation Procedure:

    • Submit the registration form by email to info@fffai.org on or before 15th December 2025

    • Eligible candidates will receive an email confirmation from FFFAI by 20th December 2025, along with the questionnaire and dissertation topic

    • Candidates must submit their completed questionnaire and dissertation by 5th January 2026

    • FFFAI will scrutinize submissions, shortlist the final candidate, and announce results by 10th January 2026

    • The shortlisted candidate will be nominated as India’s representative for the FIATA Young Logistics Professionals Award 2026

All submissions must be routed through FFFAI. Direct submissions to FIATA without FFFAI’s recommendation will be rejected.

Winners at the regional level will receive exceptional opportunities, including:

    • Fully sponsored attendance at the FIATA World Congress

    • Two weeks of academic and practical training, including one week in London and one week at a TT Club regional centre (London, Hong Kong, or New Jersey)

    • Coverage of their success story in the International Transport Journal (Switzerland) and the International Freighting Weekly (UK)

    • FIATA/YLP Trophy certificate, with the winner’s name featured on the FIATA/YLP website
