    Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) organised an insightful Open House Interaction with the officials of Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), CLA Delhi, on May 12, 2026, at the DGFT Office, Indraprastha Bhawan, New Delhi, providing a dynamic platform for exporters and trade officials to engage in meaningful discussions on key trade and policy matters.

    The interactive session witnessed participation from senior DGFT officials and industry representatives, and was addressed by Mr Jaipal, Joint DGFT, CLA Delhi; Mr Sukhbir Singh Badal, Joint DGFT, CLA Delhi; Mr Hemant Kumar, Deputy DGFT, CLA Delhi; Mr Arvind Goenka, Regional Chairman (North), FIEO; Mr Suvidh Shah, Additional Director General, FIEO; and Mr Ashish Jain, DDG & Regional Head (North), FIEO.

    During the session, exporters raised various operational and procedural concerns related to the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), Import Export Code (IEC), Advance Authorisation, RoDTEP benefits, export compliance requirements, DGFT online processes, and ease of doing business initiatives. The discussions enabled participants to seek practical clarifications and gain better understanding of evolving trade procedures and regulatory frameworks.

    The open house also highlighted the importance of continuous industry-government engagement in strengthening India’s export ecosystem and enhancing trade facilitation measures. Exporters appreciated the proactive approach of DGFT and FIEO in addressing industry concerns and promoting smoother, transparent, and efficient export processes.
