Glottis Limited has successfully handled and delivered its first air import consolidation shipment from Zhengzhou (CGO), China, to Chennai (MAA), India, marking the launch of its China–Chennai Air Import Consol programme.
The new service is aimed at providing a reliable, efficient and competitive air freight consolidation solution for customers moving cargo from China to South India.
Glottis said the successful first movement was achieved through coordinated efforts by its sales, pricing, customer service, operations and overseas partner teams. The company plans to use the new service to strengthen China–India trade lanes, improve transit efficiency and service reliability, and provide additional logistics solutions to customers.
The first consolidation shipment has been successfully delivered, with Glottis indicating that the movement marks the beginning of an expanded air freight service between China and Chennai.
