The Haldia Dock Complex (HDC) has achieved its highest-ever monthly container throughput, handling 20,627 TEUs in September 2025, surpassing its previous record of 20,113 TEUs set in January 2025.

Port authorities credited the milestone to the increasing confidence of shipping lines, cargo owners, and logistics partners, along with the dedicated efforts of the HDC and HICT teams in ensuring seamless operations.

“This achievement marks a significant step forward for HDC as it continues to enhance efficiency and strengthen its role as a key gateway for trade,” officials said.

With momentum building, HDC aims to scale new heights in container handling in the coming months.
