Hapag-Lloyd has revised the port rotation for the Bangkok Maersk service, adjusting ports of call as part of ongoing network optimisation and schedule management efforts.

The carrier said the changes are aimed at improving service reliability and operational efficiency amid fluctuating demand and port congestion challenges across Asian trade lanes. Revised rotations are expected to help stabilise transit times and better align capacity with cargo flows.

Industry sources noted that port rotation adjustments have become increasingly common as carriers fine-tune services in response to shifting trade patterns, vessel availability, and berth productivity at key ports. For shippers, the updated call sequence may result in minor changes to transit schedules at affected origins and destinations.

Hapag-Lloyd advised customers to check updated sailing schedules and cut-off times, adding that it continues to monitor operational conditions closely to minimise disruption and maintain service consistency across its network.
