Haldia International Container Terminal (HICT) has further boosted its operational capabilities with the induction of two new Reach Stackers on 18th August 2025. The advanced machines, equipped with modern technology, are aimed at enhancing the terminal’s handling capacity and efficiency.

This addition comes as part of HICT’s continuous efforts to upgrade infrastructure with state-of-the-art equipment. Earlier in March 2025, the terminal had commissioned a new Empty Container Handler to cater to the growing demand for handling empty containers.

With these upgrades, HICT expects to achieve faster turnaround times and improved overall efficiency, reinforcing its commitment to delivering reliable and high-quality services to the trade.
