Hong Kong Air Cargo is strengthening its network in Asia with the resumption of freighter flights to Singapore and the addition of Chennai to its scheduled operations.
From 4 January, flights from Hong Kong (HKG) to Singapore (SIN) will depart Tuesday-Sunday. Return flights will also operate Tuesday-Sunday.
Flights from HKG to Chennai (MAA) have also transitioned from charter to scheduled operations, effective 4 January.
From HKG to MAA, flights will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. From MAA to HKG, flights will also take place on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
“The network enhancement reflects our continued commitment to providing reliable and customer-focused air cargo solutions across Asia and beyond,” said Hong Kong Air Cargo.
“With the introduction of scheduled services on these routes, customers will benefit from consistent operations and dependable connections, enabling more effective shipment planning and smoother supply chain management.”
In September, HKAC expanded its services to Dhaka, Bangladesh, while also temporarily expanding services to Hanoi, Vietnam.
HKAC currently has five A330-200Fs that are dry leased from its parent company Hong Kong Airlines, plus an EFW-converted Airbus A330-300P2F that is on ACMI lease.
By 2027, HKAC aims to have 15 aircraft – comprising owned and aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance (ACMI) leased aircraft, the airline told Air Cargo News in an interview last year.
