IFFCO Kandla joined the nation in celebrating the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm at Udaynagar Township. The Tricolour was unfurled by Chief Guest Shri A.K. Sharma, Director (Technical), along with Shri Anirudha Vikram Singh, General Manager, Kandla Unit, in the presence of a large gathering. The National Anthem was sung ceremoniously, followed by a guard of honour from the Security Services. Students from AUM Vidyamandir and Kendriya Vidyalaya paid tribute to the National Flag with a spirited march-past and parade.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Sharma paid homage to the freedom fighters for their role in nation-building and expressed confidence that, under the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India will emerge as a developed and strong economy by 2047. He highlighted IFFCO’s commitment to strengthening the nation’s prosperity by providing quality fertilisers to farmers on time. Guided by Managing Director Shri K.J. Patel, IFFCO has introduced advanced agricultural technologies, including Nano Urea Plus and Nano DAP, dedicated to the service of the nation.

The celebrations featured cultural performances by students from First Step School, AUM Vidyamandir, and Kendriya Vidyalaya, showcasing patriotism and national unity. The event was attended by senior officials, members of the IFFCO Employees Union and Officers Association, township residents, and school principals, teachers, and students.
