Analysts note that India’s shipbuilding industry has emerged as a key contributor to the country’s defence export ambitions, supplying patrol vessels, frigates, and support ships to friendly nations.
Defence officials highlighted that improved technological capabilities, streamlined export procedures, and government-backed incentives have enabled private and public shipyards to secure international contracts.
