    IRCLASS Systems and Solutions Pvt Ltd (ISSPL), the industrial services arm of Indian Register of Shipping (IR Class), has acquired a 40 per cent stake in Mumbai-based compliance services provider eProtect 360 Solutions Pvt Ltd for an undisclosed sum.

    The move marks ISSPL’s entry into advanced cybersecurity resilience, managed security services, GRC 360 Assure tools, and anti-ransomware solutions.

    eProtect 360 has a global footprint across South America, North America, Asia, Africa, Europe and Australia, catering to sectors such as banking, financial services, technology, oil & gas, aviation, AI, e-commerce, healthcare, retail and manufacturing.

    “At ISSPL, we’ve always focused on building trust, resilience, and innovation for our clients. Partnering with eProtect 360 allows us to enter a high-growth domain while offering world-class cybersecurity and governance solutions under one roof,” said Shashi Nath Mishra, COO, ISSPL.

    “This stake acquisition reinforces ISSPL’s vision of becoming a comprehensive solutions provider by integrating cybersecurity, resilience management, and technology-driven assurance into its core portfolio,” added Vinay Kshirsagar, MD, ISSPL.

    Indian Register of Shipping (IRS) is one of 12 full-time members of the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS). It verifies ships for seaworthiness and has been operating an industrial services division for over four decades, spun off as ISSPL in 2014.

    ISSPL offers end-to-end solutions in testing, inspection, and certification across sectors such as oil & gas, infrastructure, energy, automotive, aerospace and defence, supporting clients throughout the lifecycle of assets. It also owns SAFESS, a subsidiary specializing in inspection, testing and certification of industrial plants, pipelines and equipment.
