Jeena & Company, a leading global freight forwarding and supply chain solutions provider, has appointed Priyank Jain as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Based at the company’s Mumbai corporate office, Jain will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Prediman K. Koul and lead the Finance & Accounts function, overseeing the finance team.

A Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of experience in corporate finance, accounting and strategic leadership, Jain brings extensive expertise in financial management, business planning, cost optimisation and process transformation.

He began his career with SBS Group as a Manager, handling internal audits, account finalisation, mergers and acquisitions, and supporting the company’s geographical expansion. His experience spans end-to-end financial administration, including budgeting, cost control, accounting, taxation and financial analysis.

During his tenure at BDP International, Jain established an annual business planning and budgeting process and strengthened the company’s Management Information Systems (MIS) framework to improve the monitoring of operational and financial performance.

Prior to joining Jeena & Company, he served as Deputy General Manager at Mahindra Logistics Ltd., where he led several initiatives aimed at improving financial and operational efficiency. These included system and process improvements that generated significant annual cost savings, the development of an integrated finance system, and a revenue assurance project to enhance the accuracy of revenue estimates through improved data extraction and validation.

At Jeena, Jain has been driving finance transformation initiatives, streamlining financial processes and strengthening operational excellence to improve efficiency, accountability and informed decision-making across the organisation.

Jain holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Mumbai and is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Mumbai. He also holds a Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) from the UK and has completed a Finance Leadership Programme at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad).

Commenting on his appointment, Jain said he was excited about his journey at Jeena and expressed gratitude to the company’s partners and CEO for placing their trust in him.

“Jeena’s 125-year journey will help me witness both sides of the coin – its rich legacy and the digital transformation it is going through. My focus will be on building financial systems and processes that are strong enough to support the company’s next phase of growth, while staying true to the discipline and reliability that have defined Jeena for over a century. I look forward to working closely with the leadership team and the finance function to help drive that forward,” he said.

Commenting on the appointment, Prediman K. Koul, CEO of Jeena & Company, said Jain’s combination of financial discipline and hands-on operational experience in the logistics sector makes him well suited to the company’s growth ambitions.

“As we scale towards our next phase of growth, his ability to build robust systems and drive financial rigour will be a real asset to the team,” Koul said.
