JM Baxi Group’s Nhava Sheva Distribution Terminal has achieved a significant milestone in FY 2025–26, handling 1 million tonnes of steel cargo. The achievement underscores the growing trust of customers and the sustained efforts of the terminal’s operations and support teams in delivering efficient cargo solutions.

The terminal, strategically located at Nhava Sheva, has played a key role in facilitating steel movements for both coastal and international trade. The management attributed the milestone to strong customer partnerships, streamlined processes, and a focus on operational reliability.

Officials said the terminal remains committed to expanding EXIM volumes while supporting partners in scaling up their coastal and global trade activities. With an emphasis on smooth, safe, and timely cargo handling, the facility continues to prioritise operational excellence, faster turnaround times, and damage-free handling of cargo.

The terminal also acknowledged the continued support of Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) and its valued customers in reaching the landmark figure.

As trade volumes grow, the Nhava Sheva Distribution Terminal aims to further strengthen its performance benchmarks and explore new opportunities to enhance EXIM cargo throughput in the coming months.
