A Liners Meeting was held in Bengaluru today, bringing together representatives of shipping lines, port users and other key stakeholders to discuss matters related to port operations, connectivity and trade facilitation.
The meeting was chaired by Shri Sushil Kumar Singh, IRSME, Chairperson, Deendayal Port, Indian Ports Association and NMPA, along with Smt. S. Shanthi, Deputy Chairperson, NMPA; Shri Dinesh Kumar, Director, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways; and Shri Tej Pratap Singh, IRTS, Chief Freight Transportation Manager, Southern Railway.
Participants shared their views, suggestions and perspectives on issues affecting maritime trade and logistics operations.
The meeting provided a platform for industry–Port–Railway–Government collaboration, with discussions focused on strengthening stakeholder engagement, improving connectivity and facilitating more efficient maritime trade.
