Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured a major road development contract in Dubai valued between ₹1,000 crore and ₹2,500 crore, strengthening its presence in the Middle East infrastructure market.

The project involves the construction and upgrading of key road infrastructure, aimed at improving traffic flow, connectivity, and urban mobility in the emirate. L&T said the contract was awarded by a Dubai government authority as part of ongoing investments in transport infrastructure.

According to the company, the project will be executed by its transportation infrastructure business and will leverage L&T’s expertise in large-scale road and urban infrastructure projects. The scope includes civil works and associated infrastructure, with completion scheduled in line with project timelines set by the client.

Industry observers said the win reinforces L&T’s strong order book and its position as a leading international infrastructure contractor, particularly in the Gulf region.

L&T said the project aligns with its strategy to expand overseas operations and pursue opportunities in high-growth infrastructure markets.
