Global logistics leader Maersk has introduced a new cross-border rail solution, marking a first for its network. The service was initiated through the opportunity to export wheatmeal from Kazakhstan to China, highlighting the growing demand for efficient overland trade routes.

The new offering not only enhances the China–Kazakhstan trade corridor but also opens up broader access to Southeast Asia through integrated rail-sea connections. With this development, Maersk aims to provide customers with smarter, scalable, and sustainable rail logistics options to strengthen global supply chains.
