Maersk has revised its Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for less-than-container-load (LCL) shipments from India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal and Bhutan to the US East Coast and Gulf destinations, effective from 2 October to 31 December 2026.

Under the revised tariff, shipments originating from Northwest India, Nepal and Bhutan to all ports of discharge (PODs), except Houston (USHOU), will attract a surcharge of US$179 per weight or measurement (W/M).

For shipments to Houston, the surcharge will be US$183 per W/M for cargo originating from India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal and Bhutan.

Meanwhile, shipments from South and East India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Maldives to all other ports of discharge, excluding Houston, will attract a surcharge of US$189 per W/M.

The revised charges are in addition to applicable local, contingency and other surcharges and are subject to Maersk’s standard terms and conditions.
