MatchLog has entered into a strategic collaboration with DD Khosla to strengthen container reuse and enhance fleet network efficiency across Punjab, in a move aimed at reducing empty container movements and improving overall logistics performance in the region.

Under the partnership, DD Khosla will work closely with MatchLog to enable more frequent and reliable “street turns” across key trade lanes in Punjab. This approach ensures that import containers are directly matched with export demand, minimising the need to reposition empty containers to ports or inland container depots.

The initiative integrates MatchLog’s STinder technology platform with DD Khosla’s strong transporter network and on-ground operational presence. The combined effort is expected to improve asset utilisation while reducing repositioning costs for both hauliers and cargo owners.

A key component of the collaboration is the inclusion of MiSTY Yard Services, which aim to enhance yard turnaround times and provide better control over container dwell times and positioning. The partnership will also deliver value-added logistics services such as coordination, documentation, and end-to-end management of container flows.

In addition, DD Khosla will support the expansion of MatchLog’s transporter and fleet partner network in Punjab. This is expected to create more consistent freight opportunities for trucking operators while reducing empty return trips.

Harsh Vardhan Gupta, Co-founder and India CEO of MatchLog, highlighted Punjab’s strong import-export base as a key enabler for high-frequency container reuse. He noted that DD Khosla’s local expertise and fleet relationships would play a crucial role in achieving measurable improvements, including fewer empty kilometres, faster yard turnaround, and more predictable load continuity for transporters.

The collaboration underscores MatchLog’s ongoing efforts to scale container reuse through partnerships with established regional players. Both companies plan to expand their initiatives and industry outreach to drive wider adoption of digital container reuse solutions across Punjab’s logistics ecosystem.
