MOVIN, the logistics brand formed through a joint venture between InterGlobe Enterprises and UPS, has announced its entry into India’s healthcare logistics segment with the launch of a new vertical, MOVIN Healthcare.
The company said the new offering is aimed at meeting the growing demand for secure, temperature-controlled transportation of pharmaceutical, MedTech, diagnostics and laboratory shipments across the country.
India’s healthcare express logistics market, estimated at $5.5–$7.5 billion, is witnessing rapid growth driven by rising healthcare consumption and the increasing need for reliable movement of sensitive medical materials. MOVIN Healthcare will operate with a specialised portfolio designed to support end-to-end shipments under strict temperature conditions, including 2–8°C refrigerated, 15–25°C controlled ambient and dry ice frozen ranges between –80°C and –20°C.
These capabilities are critical for transporting vaccines, biologics, pharmaceuticals and clinical trial materials. The company said all healthcare consignments will be supported by real-time shipment monitoring and a 24/7 control tower to ensure visibility, security and compliance throughout transit. Priority handling across the MOVIN network and comprehensive carrier insurance will also be part of the offering.
A key feature of the new vertical is its Next Flight Out (NFO) service, which is designed for time-critical healthcare movements. The service is positioned to support urgent transportation needs of hospitals, laboratories and research organisations requiring rapid and controlled delivery.
MOVIN Healthcare will function as a dedicated, resource-backed unit within the company, with trained operational staff and customer service teams focused exclusively on healthcare logistics. Its operating framework includes specialised packaging solutions, handling of time-sensitive consignments and adherence to stringent quality and safety protocols.
In its initial phase, the healthcare vertical will cover 50 strategic markets, with plans for phased nationwide expansion based on demand. MOVIN said it aims to strengthen its presence across major healthcare hubs, diagnostics clusters and pharmaceutical manufacturing zones as part of the broader rollout strategy.
