Noida International Airport is set to attract investments of up to ₹5,000 crore for the development of its cargo infrastructure, according to Ramanathan Rajamani.

The proposed investment will focus on building modern cargo terminals, warehousing facilities and integrated logistics infrastructure to position the airport as a major air cargo hub in north India. The cargo development plan is expected to support domestic and international freight, including express, e-commerce, pharmaceuticals and perishables.

Rajamani said the airport’s strategic location and multimodal connectivity would help attract global logistics players and boost exports from the region. The cargo infrastructure is being planned in phases, aligned with the airport’s operational rollout, to ensure scalability as volumes grow.

Once operational, Noida Airport is expected to play a key role in decongesting existing air cargo hubs and strengthening India’s air freight and supply chain ecosystem.
