Ocean Network Express (ONE) has announced adjustments to its Northern Europe–Mediterranean service network, aiming to enhance schedule reliability, optimise vessel deployment, and improve transit times across key trade corridors.

The carrier said the revamped configuration will streamline port rotations and better align capacity with evolving cargo demand between Northern Europe and major Mediterranean hubs. The changes are expected to reduce congestion-related delays and strengthen connectivity for both import and export cargo flows.

According to the company, the network refinement forms part of its broader strategy to boost operational efficiency and deliver more stable weekly sailings. ONE added that the revised structure will also improve equipment repositioning and support supply chain resilience amid shifting trade patterns.

The Europe–Mediterranean corridor remains a vital route for containerised cargo, including consumer goods, automotive components, chemicals, and food products. Industry analysts note that carriers are increasingly fine-tuning service loops to balance capacity with fluctuating volumes and port performance challenges.

Customers have been advised of updated sailing schedules and port calls, with the new network configuration set to take effect in the coming weeks.
