Ocean Network Express (ONE) has expanded its operations in the West Asia region with the appointment of Seaway Logistics Maldives Pvt. Ltd. as its official agent in Malé, Maldives.

The move coincides with the launch of a new weekly service connecting Colombo and Malé, designed to meet the country’s growing import demand.

The service enhances efficiency and reliability in cargo movement while integrating the Maldives into ONE’s global trade network.

It will support import and export growth, strengthen logistics across the islands, and connect local businesses to major international markets through ONE’s extensive global routes.

Sundeep Sibal, Regional Head of Ocean Network Express West Asia LLC, said: “Our new service enhances connectivity and delivers cargo efficiently between Malé and ONE’s global network, creating new opportunities for trade growth.”

Recently, ONE enhanced its Korea China Straits (KCS) service with a new port call at Haiphong, Vietnam.
