    Ocean Network Express (ONE) has announced a revision to its Japan Korea 1 (JK1) service, aiming to improve operational efficiency, service reliability, and environmental performance .

    As part of the update, the Tokyo port call will be replaced with a call at Kawasaki.

    The revised service rotation will take effect with the MV Confidence voyage 218E/218W, departing Pusan on 12 June.

    Updated JK1 Service Rotation:

    • Current: Pusan – Shimizu – Tokyo – Nagoya – Pusan
    • New: Pusan – Shimizu – Kawasaki – Nagoya – Pusan

    The Japanese carrier reported strong financial results for FY2024 (April 2024 – March 2025) , with revenue soaring 32 per cent year-over-year (YoY) to $19.23 billion.

    The company witnessed their net profit surge to $4.24 billion, marking a $3.27 billion increase from the previous year.
