Apollo Tyres has appointed Parmeshwaran Iyer as its Chief Supply Chain Officer to lead its global supply chain team. He will strategically develop and optimise global supply chain operations, aligning demand forecasting, production planning, logistics management, and stakeholder coordination with the company’s business objectives. His leadership aims to drive operational excellence, enhance competitiveness, and foster sustainable growth.
Extensive experience in global supply chain management
Parmeshwaran Iyer was the Global Vice President, Digital Supply Chain at Beiersdorf AG before joining Apollo Tyres. With an emphasis on developing skills in planning, logistics, and customer service—including S&OP, cost to serve, and logistics excellence—he also led the global competency team.
Additionally, Parmeshwaran Iyer oversaw the end-to-end supply chain operations in 88 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, Russia/CIS, and Southwest Asia, including India, as the Regional Supply Chain Manager for Beiersdorf AG. He has held executive positions with Daikin Air Conditioning, Total Energies India, and Johnson & Johnson.
He will be based in Gurugram, India, at Apollo Tyres’ corporate headquarters, where he will answer directly to Neeraj Kanwar.
