Paradip Multipurpose Clean Cargo Terminal has successfully completed the handling and movement of critical over-dimensional cargo (ODC) project consignments for Balrampur Chini Mills, demonstrating advanced project cargo handling capabilities and seamless operational coordination.

The operation involved the handling of a Crystalliser measuring 30.5 metres in length, 4.92 metres in width and 4.96 metres in height, along with a Cyclization Reactor measuring 41.13 metres by 6.9 metres by 7 metres. In total, the terminal managed 2,730.88 cubic metres of cargo weighing 340 metric tonnes without any operational incident.

According to the terminal, the execution of cargo of such scale and complexity required detailed planning, specialised handling equipment, precision engineering and continuous real-time coordination across operational teams.

The successful completion of the movement highlights PMCCL’s growing expertise in handling heavy-lift and project cargo operations, reinforcing its position as a key logistics and cargo handling facility on India’s eastern coast.

The terminal also acknowledged the contribution of all operational teams and stakeholders involved in ensuring the safe and timely execution of the project.
