Florida’s Port Canaveral welcomed more than 1,000 cruise ship calls during the 2025 fiscal year, handling a record 8.6 million cruisers.
These numbers mark a 13% year-over-year increase.
The wow5 fiscal year ended at the end of September.
Earlier this year, the port marked a key milestone with its 100 millionth passenger since opening more than 40 years ago.
“We have an increasing responsibility to drive economic value in our region. Our growth is boosting the local economy with increased business investments in Port District communities that are creating new jobs and a growing tax base of revenues,” said Port CEO Capt John Murray said.
Total cruise business revenues were $182m.
In 2026, 18 ships will homeport at Port Canaveral with overall passenger traffic expected to exceed 9 million on 1,083 ship calls.
