    AD Ports Group has announced that marine construction and dredging activities are being conducted in the open seaside area located North of Khalifa Port basin and the area adjacent to main channel, from today (6 November) until further notice, GAC said.

    In its Notice To Mariners No.14/2025, AD Ports Group advises that dredged materials will be discharged to a designated area, using floating and submerged pipelines within the No Go Area.

    Two temporary yellow special marker buoys and silt curtain will be deployed, at the following positions and with the below characteristics:

    B1
    – Yellow Marker Buoy
    – Light Characteristics: Yellow Fl(1) 10s
    – Coordinates: 24° 49′ 11.89″ N / 054° 37′ 52.22″ E

    B2
    – Yellow Marker Buoy
    – Light Characteristics: Yellow Fl(1) 10s
    – Coordinates: 24° 48′ 58.94″ N / 054° 38′ 02.98″ E

    Mariners are advised to temporarily update the related BA charts (Admiralty chart number BA 3752 and adjoining charts). No vessels other than those engaged in the project works shall enter the navigation exclusion zone. All vessels & boats using the port must navigate with heightened caution in the vicinity of operation & dredging area.
