PSA Mumbai has reported an unprecedented operational performance in July 2025, recording its highest-ever monthly throughput of 231,000 TEUs. This milestone marks a significant achievement, propelling the terminal to a commanding 35% market share at Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), India’s busiest container gateway.

Adding to this exceptional feat, PSA Mumbai also achieved a new rail operations record, handling 212 trains in a single month—the highest since the terminal’s inception. This surge in rail volumes highlights PSA Mumbai’s growing role in enhancing hinterland connectivity and promoting sustainable multimodal logistics.

“July 2025 has been a landmark month for PSA Mumbai. These records are a testament to the dedication of our team, the trust of our customers, and the collaborative spirit of our rail and port stakeholders,” said a company spokesperson. “We remain committed to supporting India’s trade ambitions by delivering world-class service, efficiency, and reliability.”

Strategically located at JNPA, PSA Mumbai serves as a key logistics hub connecting India to global trade routes. The terminal’s continued investments in infrastructure, technology, and service capabilities are central to its mission of powering the future of logistics and trade connectivity.

With these record-setting achievements, PSA Mumbai reaffirms its position as a leading gateway for trade and a catalyst for India’s economic growth.
