    Qatar Airways Cargo has announced the appointment of Eric Wilson as Senior Vice President of Cargo Sales.

    “Eric will oversee all aspects of cargo sales, including customer relationship management, global accounts, market development and ensuring the highest standards of service for our customer base,” reads the LinkedIn post from Qatar Airways Cargo welcoming him.

    He has three decades of experience in air cargo spending most of his time with US carriers United Airlines and Delta Air Lines. Before joining Qatar Airways Cargo, he was the Chief Commercial Officer of the all-cargo carrier Amerijet International. Until August 2020, he spent 12+ years in Delta Air Lines in different designations including Managing Director of Global Cargo Sales. He started his career with United Airlines in 1993 as an International Customer Service Representative at Chicago-O’Hare Intl Airport, spent 14+ years handling both passenger and cargo responsibilities, steadily growing through the ranks and while also handling operations in the United States, China and Asia Pacific.
