The Ministry of Railways has appointed Rakesh Kumar Rousan as Part-time Government Director on the Board of Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR), effective immediately. The appointment will continue until he holds the position of Executive Director (BD), Railway Board, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The decision, communicated through the Ministry’s order no. 2022/PL/57/10 dated 17 October 2025, has been approved by the President of India. The appointment is in line with the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013, and SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure
    Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

CONCOR has stated that the necessary procedures for the appointment are being completed and that all required disclosures will be filed with stock exchanges within the stipulated timeframe.

This move reinforces the Government of India’s continued involvement in the leadership and governance of CONCOR, a key player in the country’s containerised logistics and freight transport sector.
