Infrastructure developer Ramky Infrastructure Limited has secured a major contract worth ₹1,401 crore for the development of an industrial area linked to Dighi Port in Raigad district of Maharashtra. The project is aimed at strengthening the port’s industrial ecosystem and boosting logistics and manufacturing activities in the region.

The contract covers the development of core infrastructure within the port-linked industrial zone, including internal roads, drainage systems, utilities, and other essential facilities required to support industrial operations. The project forms part of a broader plan to transform the Dighi Port area into a major logistics and industrial hub on India’s west coast.

According to the company, the project is expected to enhance cargo-linked industrial growth around the port, creating new opportunities for trade, warehousing, and value-added manufacturing. The development will also help attract investment into port-led industries such as petrochemicals, engineering goods, and export-oriented manufacturing.

Dighi Port has been gaining strategic importance due to its proximity to key industrial centres in western India and its ability to serve as an alternative gateway to the busy ports in the Mumbai region. The creation of a dedicated industrial zone is expected to further strengthen the port’s role in regional supply chains.

With this contract win, Ramky Infrastructure continues to expand its footprint in large-scale infrastructure development projects across India, particularly in industrial, logistics, and port-linked development segments.
