    Transportation infrastructure consulting firm RITES has signed an initial agreement with NMDC Limited, India’s leading iron ore producer, to provide comprehensive project management consultancy services. This Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) aims to build, upgrade, and create rail connectivity for NMDC’s mines and related facilities across various locations.

    According to a press release, RITES will offer end-to-end consultancy services from concept to commissioning, focusing on reconnaissance surveys, feasibility studies, Detailed Project Reports (DPR), and project management for rail connectivity projects. This includes allied civil works such as roads, bridges, and other infrastructure necessary for efficient transportation and logistics in NMDC’s operational areas.

    The partnership underscores RITES’ expertise in managing complex railway infrastructure projects and NMDC’s commitment to improving operational efficiency through modern rail connections. With its extensive experience in railway engineering and project management,
    RITES will assist NMDC in executing critical projects to enhance logistical capacities and expedite the transportation of raw materials.
