As a stop-gap arrangement the Govt assigned the additional charge of Director (Bulk Carriers & Tankers) to Rear Admiral Jaswinder Singh who is working as Director, Liner & Passenger Services in SCI. The post of Director (Bulk Carriers & Tankers) in the Shipping Corporation of India fell vacant after Atul Ubale retired on June 30, 2025.
The post of Director, Personnel & Administration is also vacant in SCI while the additional charge is with CMD Binesh Kumar Tyagi. PESB has recommended Som Raj (GM, Fleet Personnel) for the post of Director (Pers & Admin) in March 2025.
