ShiprocketX, the cross-border shipping arm of Shiprocket, on Monday, announced two major innovations to simplify global trade for India’s exporters.

The platform has launched Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) enablement for the USA and Canada, and unveiled the HSN Vision tool, an AI-driven solution to automate duty and tax calculations.

These new launches are aimed at helping Indian businesses navigate uncertainty with confidence while gaining a sharper competitive edge in two of the world’s largest consumer markets.

With the new DDP enablement, sellers can now book shipments, view upfront duties and tariff rates, and ship seamlessly to the US and Canadian markets, ensuring compliance at the time of shipping with no additional cost or hidden burden.

With shipping starting at ₹375 (excluding GST) for 50 gms, sellers can access complete tariff and duty calculations upfront at the time of booking, eliminating hidden costs and making cross-border deliveries simpler and more transparent.

ShiprocketX has introduced HSN Vision, an AI-powered tool that allows exporters to simply upload product images to identify the correct Harmonised System of Nomenclature (HSN) code.

The tool instantly calculates applicable duties and taxes, helping businesses save time, avoid classification errors, and improve operational efficiency in international trade.

Akshay Ghulati, CEO – International Shipping at Shiprocket, said in a statement, “India’s small businesses are the backbone of cross-border commerce, and they are going to face significant challenges in navigating the new tariff regime. With DDP enablement and HSN Vision, we are helping such businesses tackle this issue head-on. It also helps in democratising access to global markets by removing traditional trade barriers with technology-first solutions.”
