In a landmark step towards bridging the gender gap in India’s logistics and Export-Import (EXIM) sector, Softlink Academy, the skill development arm of Softlink Global, has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with EXIM Management Services and SNDT Women’s College, Pune.

This first-of-its-kind industry–academia–government collaboration will equip women students with the academic knowledge, practical skills, and digital tools needed to succeed in global trade and logistics. The program combines certified training, hands-on ERP experience, and real-world industry exposure, setting a new benchmark for inclusive skill development.

    What the Collaboration Offers

Real-time industry exposure: Students will train on Logi-Sys, Softlink’s Intelligent Cloud ERP, used by logistics companies worldwide.

Practical, curriculum-integrated training: Modules cover documentation, customs compliance, shipment lifecycle, and digital operations.

Career-ready mentorship and placement: Access to industry experts, internships, and job pathways within EXIM and logistics.

By merging academic learning with industry application, the initiative aims to create a future-ready, skilled, and diverse workforce. Women—historically underrepresented in EXIM—will gain both the technical competence and confidence to lead in a competitive global marketplace.

    Leadership Speaks

“Knowledge is the foundation of progress, but when combined with practical experience and digital tools, it becomes a powerful force for transformation. Through Softlink Academy, we’re committed to nurturing talent that can shape the future of EXIM — not just by understanding the trade, but by leading it,” said Amit Maheshwari, Founder & CEO, Softlink Global.

“Where practical wisdom meets digital precision — EXIM Management Services brings real-world experience, while Softlink Academy powers the learning journey with cutting-edge digital tools. Together, we’re shaping future-ready EXIM professionals equipped to lead with insight and innovation,” said Anand Paranjape, Owner, EXIM Management Services.

“EMS and Softlink, in collaboration with SNDT Women’s College, Pune, are shaping the future of women in EXIM. Because an enlightened woman is a source of infinite strength — we’re empowering with practical skills, digital tools, and industry-ready knowledge,” stated SNDT University.

    Softlink’s Signature Programs
Students will be trained under Softlink’s LogiLEARN and LogiSKILL programs, combining theoretical coursework with practical ERP-based workflows. Training will span customs documentation, finance operations, and system-driven logistics processes.
