    Shri Rajesh Kumar Sinha, IAS, Special Secretary, Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, visited the DG Shipping headquarters today to review major ongoing initiatives.

    Discussions covered the progress of Merchant Shipping Rules consolidation, India’s strategy for improving performance under the Paris MoU Grey List review, optimisation of training slots for maritime capacity building, and budget planning for Q3–Q4 of FY 2025–26.

    The meeting offered crucial direction to accelerate regulatory reforms, operational efficiency and capability enhancement across the maritime sector.
