T.S. Lines reported a 23% year-on-year increase in net profit to US$233 million for the first half of 2026, despite a slight decline in container volumes. Revenue rose 3% to US$660.4 million during the period.

The Hong Kong-listed carrier handled 810,800 TEUs in the first six months of 2026, down 0.9% from the same period a year earlier. However, average freight revenue per TEU increased 3.6% to US$741, helping offset the lower container volumes.

Operating profit also strengthened, rising 24% year on year to US$235.1 million. The improvement reflects stronger earnings generated from each container carried, despite relatively limited volume growth.

T.S. Lines’ performance highlights the resilience of regional container shipping operators, particularly as higher freight revenue per TEU can support profitability even when cargo volumes remain subdued.

As of June 30, 2026, T.S. Lines operated 47 services covering 21 countries and 59 major ports, with total fleet capacity exceeding 130,000 TEU.
