TCI Express Ltd reported a strong start to FY2027, with rapid growth in its e-commerce business supporting higher revenue and profitability during the first quarter.

The express logistics provider reported total income of ₹315.3 crore in Q1 FY27, up 8.7% year on year from ₹290.2 crore in Q1 FY26. Revenue from operations increased 8.8% to approximately ₹311.9 crore.

The company’s E-Commerce Express segment was the standout performer, recording 63% year-on-year growth during the quarter. The increase was supported by new customer additions, higher shipment volumes and stronger demand from online retailers and direct-to-consumer businesses.

TCI Express also reported growth across its air express operations. Domestic Air Express increased 9%, while International Air Express grew 27%, supported by new customer wins, customer win-backs and expanded global carrier partnerships.

The company posted EBITDA of around ₹37 crore, an increase of approximately 11% from the year-earlier period. Profit after tax rose 6.7% to ₹22.4 crore, compared with ₹21 crore in Q1 FY26.

A key operational milestone was the company’s branch network crossing 1,000 locations across India. The expanded network is expected to strengthen shipment connectivity and support demand from e-commerce, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, automotive and SME customers.

TCI Express maintained a strong financial position, with net cash of about ₹118 crore as of June 30, 2026. The company remains debt-free, providing capacity for further investments in network expansion, technology and logistics infrastructure.

Management expects revenue growth to strengthen during the remainder of FY27 and is targeting 13%-15% revenue growth for the full financial year. The company is also targeting volume growth of around 10%-11%.

Recent pricing actions, including rate increases implemented toward the end of Q1, are expected to provide additional support to revenue and margins as the company navigates higher fuel and operating costs.

With e-commerce emerging as its fastest-growing segment, alongside expansion in domestic and international air express, TCI Express is positioning its multimodal network and nationwide branch footprint to capture India’s growing demand for time-sensitive and technology-enabled logistics services.
